Affiliate Disclosure
Effective date: 8 October 2026
Calm Thesis is paid through affiliate commission. This page explains what that means in practice, where the paid links are, and what decides the content of the course when the commission does not.
The arrangement, in one paragraph
HH PROSERVIS s.r.o., the publisher of this site, takes part in an affiliate program for World of Warships run through an affiliate network. Certain links here carry a code identifying this publisher, and if you follow one and go on to create and activate an account, the network pays HH PROSERVIS s.r.o. a commission. The network states that the program pays on a single opt-in, a download, and the creation and activation of an account.
What it costs you
Nothing extra. Following an affiliate link does not change the price of anything, what you are offered, or the terms you are given; the commission comes out of the advertiser's marketing budget, not a reader's bill. Typing the destination's address yourself would give you an identical experience, and this site would simply earn nothing.
Where the affiliate links are
There are three, and each carries a note beside it saying what it is:
- One at the end of Step 1, for a reader who wants to see what a sign-up looks like.
- One at the end of Step 4, where that step's account decisions could be carried through to a real sign-up.
- One in the privacy policy, where the policy explains what happens when you leave this site.
Everywhere else the product is plain text with no link, and the checklists carry none at all: the part you keep should be the part with nothing to sell. Every affiliate link opens in a new tab, is marked as sponsored for search engines, and points straight at the destination, with no redirect in between and no script rewriting the address after you click.
What the commission does not decide
It does not decide what the steps say. Every instruction in them works with any online PC game: reading a requirements table, looking up an Australian classification, choosing a password, setting chat and visibility, closing an account. Remove the three links and the course loses nothing but its income.
Nor does it make the named product sound better than it is. This site states only what the vendor and the network have published: a program paying commission on a single opt-in, a download and the creation and activation of an account, covering desktop computers running Windows or Mac, with Linux not included. It quotes no price, rating, feature list or opinion about quality, having no independent basis for any of them, and sends a reader wanting those to the vendor's own site.
Nor does it decide whether a step warns you about something. Step 3 says to read the consumer advice attached to a classification before letting a young person play, and to store no payment method; Step 5 says that deciding not to keep a game is a reasonable outcome. None of that helps affiliate income, and all of it stayed in.
What does decide the content
Three things. The order in which decisions actually arrive for a beginner, which fixed the five steps before any were written. What Australian public bodies publish about classification, consumer rights, privacy, online safety and account security, linked rather than restated so a reader can check the source. And the rule that a product fact belongs to the vendor: anything that changes is pointed to rather than copied, because a copy goes stale silently.
The about page sets out the editorial method in full, including how often the course is reviewed.
What you are not asked to do
You are not asked to follow any link to finish the course: every step can be read and every checklist completed without leaving this site. There is no account, sign-up, mailing list or form here. The site does not even know whether you followed a link, because it sets no cookies and runs no analytics, as the cookie policy and the privacy policy both describe.
What the publisher receives
The affiliate network sends HH PROSERVIS s.r.o. commission reports so payments can be reconciled, and they are used for that alone. The publisher does not request information identifying individual readers and does not try to match a report to a visit. What the destination site does once you are on it is governed by its own notices, not this site's.
Trademarks
All brand names on Calm Thesis, World of Warships among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Calm Thesis, and none has endorsed or sponsored it.
