Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small piece of text that a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits, which is how a site recognises a returning visitor. Similar technologies do the same job by other means: browser storage areas that keep data on your computer, invisible images used to register that a page was opened, and scripts loaded from other companies that can see your visit.

- Not used. calmthesis.online sets no cookies of its own, for any purpose, including session or preference cookies.

- Not used. No advertising network, analytics company, social platform or video service is present on these pages, so nobody can set a cookie through them.
- localStorage
- Not used. Nothing is written to your browser's local storage, which is why a tick on a checklist cannot be remembered.
- sessionStorage
- Not used. Nothing is kept for the duration of your visit either.
- IndexedDB
- Not used. The site creates no database in your browser.
- Tracking pixels
- Not used. There are no invisible images, beacons or conversion tags on any page.
- Browser fingerprinting
- Not used. No script reads your fonts, screen, canvas or hardware to build an identifier.
- Web fonts and third-party scripts
- Not used. Text is drawn with fonts already installed on your computer, and the only script is one short first-party file that opens the small-screen menu and asks the browser to print the checklists page. The pages request nothing from any other server.
- Server access logs
- Used. Our hosting provider records ordinary web server log entries when a page is served.
Why there is no banner
Consent banners exist so that a site can ask permission before storing something on your computer. This site stores nothing, so there is nothing to ask about. Showing a banner anyway would be untrue: it would imply a choice that does not exist, and it would train you to click past a question that elsewhere matters.
What does happen when you open a page
Your browser asks our hosting provider for the page, and the provider records that request in its access log: the IP address, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page where your browser sends one, and the user-agent string. Those entries are kept for 30 days and are used only for security, abuse prevention and fault diagnosis. That is the complete list of what happens. The privacy policy describes the same handling in more detail and agrees with this page.
The checklists do not remember your ticks
Every checklist on this site is printed text with drawn boxes, not a form. Nothing you do on the page is saved, because saving would require localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or a cookie, and none of those is used. Print the checklists page or keep your own notes instead.
After you follow an affiliate link
Some links in the course are paid affiliate links to the World of Warships website. Once you follow one you are on somebody else's site, and that site and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains to record where the referral came from. HH PROSERVIS s.r.o. does not control those, cannot switch them off from here, and has no access to them. Their own cookie and privacy notices are the place to read what they do.
How to block or clear cookies in any browser
Every current browser lets you manage this, usually under a settings section called privacy, security or site permissions. There you can normally clear cookies and site data already stored, block third-party cookies by default, block all cookies for particular sites, or clear everything automatically each time you close the browser. Blocking cookies entirely does break sign-in on sites that rely on them, so most people block third-party cookies and clear the rest periodically. Nothing you choose will change how this site behaves, because it sets nothing either way.
If this ever changes
If cookies or any similar technology are ever introduced to this site, this page will be rewritten to describe each one before it is used, the effective date will be updated, and a working consent mechanism will be in place so that nothing is stored until you have agreed to it. No cookie will appear here quietly.
